About us….
Restoring and converting vehicles into eye-catching mobile street food sales units is a meticulous process that requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship. At Restore & Convert, we take pride in breathing new life into vehicles, transforming them into functional and visually appealing spaces for culinary entrepreneurs. From bodywork and paintwork to interior fit-out and appliance installation, we ensure that every aspect of the conversion is expertly executed. Our goal is to create mobile catering units that not only stand out on the street food scene but also provide a seamless and efficient working environment for our clients.
About Me
I completed an HND in Engineering in 1986 and began full-time work in agricultural engineering. My passion was always classic cars, so in 1990, I started a classic car restoration workshop, restoring classics from the 1950s, '60s, and '70s, including Rover, Jaguar, Mercedes, and Ford.
In 2010, I became involved in restoring classic Airstream trailers and converting them for catering and retail use. This led to the creation of Revival Trailers, a company that manufactured replicas of classic American caravans, such as Airstream, Silver Streak, Avion, and others.
I sold Revival Trailers in 2024 and have now returned to my roots, restoring classic cars while also creating unique, quirky vehicles for catering and retail use.
